A reminder about the Cashmere Seniors Doubles Tournament
Show Weekend – Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th November
Our annual Seniors Tournament is coming up! If you are a member of our club and are over 30yrs of age you are able to enter. There are entry forms at the club or contact Grant Eastlake at 0221639231.
In preparation for the tournament we would appreciate your help with any of the following:
- We will be having a Working Bee on Friday 12th November from 9.30am to tidy up the club both indoors and outdoors.
- Helping out in the kitchen on Saturday and/or Sunday –Kay McGowan is putting a roster together, Ewan and Jeremy in charge
- Provision of baking including uncut slices.
- Donations for the raffle prizes.
- If you are happy to be called up as a reserve should we have injuries or partners required (please contact Grant Eastlake as above ).
RAFFLES – Please rattle through your cupboards :
We put together a number of hampers for our raffle prizes at the tournament and would hugely appreciate donations for this. There is a collection box in the clubrooms for donations.
Suggestions include bottle of wine, box/bar of chocolate, nuts, bottle of craft beer, nice crackers, teas, coffee beans, fancy biscuits, oils, candles, vouchers, chutneys, bottle of bubbles ….!

There will be social tennis on Friday afternoon from 1.00pm instead of Saturday afternoon.
Quiz Night was a great success. Thanks firstly to Maria for her incredible organization and those who helped her. Thanks also to all the members and others who supported the event and to everyone who contributed to the raffles.
Note for your Diary
Our Christmas Breakup will be on Saturday December 11.
Both our Premier men and woman will be playing at home that day. It will be a wonderful chance for all members to celebrate the year. Further details to come.
