Members are required to play in their bubbles and in addition, there are strict requirements primarily around social distancing, contract tracing, and hygiene standards. Additional club rules that must be complied with during Alert Level 3: • Only courts1, 3, 5, 8,10,11 are scheduled for play • Courts can be booked from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Noon to 4pm at the weekend. • A member of the committee or club representative will be at the club to open and close the courts. • Bookings will be restricted to one hour. At the 55 minute mark, members using the court are expected to vacate so there is no cross over. • Please cancel your bookings 24 hours in advance if you do not intend to play. • Access will be via the gates and the gates are to remain open. • Do not touch the entrance gates, nets, or any other club equipment whilst at the club. All seats are unavailable and not to be touched. The scoreboards are not to be used. • Members must bring their own equipment and there is a limit of three balls per court. You must take away all items you came with, including any rubbish. • Children must be supervised by an adult. • There are to be no additional spectators (even if they are in your bubble) and no pets are allowed on club grounds. • The clubhouse, bathrooms, and drink fountains will be unavailable during AL3. • Players must maintain a minimum distance of 2m between themselves and those not in their bubble. If a ball comes onto your court from another court, do not pick it up, kick it back. • The hitting wall is open however physical distancing must be adhered to. • Do not congregate in the club grounds during player transition.

Additional Tennis NZ COVID-19 Play Safe Guidelines must also be followed. Please ensure you have familarised yourself with our Club Safety Plan. A copy is posted in the clubroom’s window. The committee understands these measures are restrictive and are unfortunately not at all what we are used to. They are very necessary to ensure the safety of all, and hopefully will ensure things return to normal sooner rather than later. There will be an ongoing review of the procedures and guidelines.

In making the decision to open the committee acknowledges that there is a degree of trust involved. Please ADHERE TO THE RULES and DO NOT apply a loose interpretation of your bubble. The committee would like to make it very clear that there is a zero-tolerance policy in place. If members are found to be non-compliant, the club facilities will be closed for everyone until Alert Level 2 is achieved. Hopefully this amazing spring continues so we can enjoy some time playing tennis with those in our bubble.

 Thanks Cashmere Tennis Club Committee
